Benedikovic- Unexpectedly but peacefully at his residence on Wednesday January 2, 2013. Fridrich “Freddy” Benedikovic, age 62 years of Corunna. Beloved husband of 39 years to Cindi. Loving father of Mike Benedikovic and his wife Kate of Sarnia, Buffy MacDonald and her husband Brian of Corunna and Scott Benedikovic and his wife Sandra of London. Dear grandfather of Hayden and Seamus MacDonald and Trent Benedikovic. Fred is also survived by; his mother, Petronella; his brother, Marian and sisters, Emilia and Helen all of Slovakia; his brother, Jaro of British Columbia and by his brother-in-law, Bill Wilson and his wife Denise of Sarnia. He was predeceased by his father, Jozef Benedikovic and by his mother-in-law, Kitty Wilson. Fred was a 26 year employee of the Carpet Super Store in Sarnia. Friends will be received at the Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Sunday January 6, 2013 from 1-4 p.m. where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday with Allan McKeown officiating. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the charity of one’s choice.
