Lovegrove- Peacefully at Bluewater Health, Sarnia on Monday October 12, 2015. Georgina “Jean” May Lovegrove, age 94 yrs. formerly of Corunna. Beloved wife of the late Stewart Lovegrove (2007). Loving mother of Douglas Lovegrove and his wife Heather of St. Albert, AB and Marilyn Seaman and her husband Ted of Deep Bay, BC. Much loved grandmother of Olivia, Matthew, Abbi, Nicole and Rebecca and great-grandmother of Emmi, Kennedy and Sam. Jean is also survived by; he sisters, Annie Hall of London and Mary Kelly of Oil Springs and by her brother, Jack Piggott of Corunna. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. She was predeceased by; her brothers, Georgie (1920) and Delbert (2005) and by her sisters, Pearl Craig (2009), Edith Holliday (2011) and Wilma Stevens (2014). Jean was a longtime member of Corunna United Church and the Corunna U.C.W. Friends will be received at the Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Wednesday October 14, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Thursday October 15, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Blair Corcoran officiating. Interment will follow in Hillsdale Cemetery, Petrolia. In lieu of flowers sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Corunna United Church, Bluewater Health Cognitive Care Unit or to the charity of one’s choice.
