Dear Alex and family: I am sorry to hear of your loss. Gill and I used to have a lot of good talks and laughs during the years at 141 Wellington Street. My thoughts are with you, take care – Margaret Langis.
I’m terribly sorry to hear of the loss of your mother and wife. She was very fortunate to have a lot of love and strong support during her time of illness. May she forever be at peace now.
Alex and Family,
Gillian always had a smile to share when you would meet up with her. I worked at CAA Travel many years ago and knew her from the travel agency. Always remember her love of travel and seeing the world.
Years later, I would see her smiling face greeting us at the door a lovely home during the IODE Christmas Home tour event. Keep your treasured memories close to your heart during these sad days, they will sustain you.
God Bless you.

Dear Alex – we were so sad to hear about Gillian. I am so glad I got up to see her a couple of times. The last time she was sleeping and I woke her up and we had a nice visit. That was in September. She was telling me she was on the list for Meadowview and I told her I would visit her there. We had lots of good times that I will remember when we went to conferences and were roomies, lots of stories and laughs late at night when we should have been sleeping! I plan to be there on Saturday. Take care Alex. Marion and Gord

Dear Alex, Leslie, Derick – and all of Gill’s loved ones,
I really was shocked and saddened to hear of Gill’s passing and sorry I wasn’t able to make the funeral. Gill and I had many great talks and laughs throughout the years we worked together. She had such enthusiasm for travel and her family and we missed her when she retired. Alex, I know how hard it will be to be alone – you were so devoted to one another. I will give you a call in a few days.
Best to all, Sylvia Foreman

Dear Alex, Leslie and the entire Ewing family. How sad to read that Gillian has passed away. Brad and I were out of the country and unable to attend the service. We just got home. I’m so glad I went to see Gillian in the hospital. We had such a good visit and she seemed really glad to see me and me her. Remember all the happy times you had. I know how much her family meant to her. Alex, she told me how wonderful you were to her. You will be in our thoughts and prayers during the difficult times ahead. With sincere sympathy. Pat and Brad
