de Belleval- It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Giselle de Belleval who has suffered through a lengthy battle with Lewy body dementia. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Afton Park Place, Sarnia, on Friday September 2, 2011. Giselle Francoise de Belleval, age 84 years formerly of Corunna. Beloved wife of 65 years to the late Guyon (May 24, 2011). Loving father of Mike de Belleval and his wife Linda of Hickson, Danielle Flett and her husband Bob of Edmonton, Diane Albert and her husband Gary of Corunna, Lynn Brewin and her husband Greg of Corunna, Marc de Belleval and his wife Sandy of Chatham and Joseph de Belleval of Toronto. Dear grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Giselle was predeceased by her infant daughter Louise. She was a lifetime member of St. Joseph’s C.W.L. A special thank you is extended to the entire staff of Afton Park Place Nursing Home for their excellent care and compassion shown to Giselle during her time there. Friends will be received at the Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Tuesday September 6, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. where the funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Corunna. As expressions of sympathy friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or to the Kidney Foundation.
