White- Peacefully surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer at St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia on Sunday April 18, 2010. Gloria Jean White, age 64 years of Corunna. Beloved companion of 30 years to Ross Cain. Loving daughter of Joyce Pryor of Sarnia. Dear mother of Duane White and his wife Lana of Forest and step-mother of Sheryle Wieringa and her husband Rob of Corunna. Treasured grandmother of Kevin, Dana and Kelsey. Gloria is also survived by; her brothers and sister, Howard Pryor (June) of Sarnia, Bill Pryor (Loretta) of Sarnia, Ian Pryor (Christina) of Kitchener and Donna (Charlie Cooper) of Newfoundland; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, John Cain (June) of Corunna, Bill Cain of Corunna, Terry Cain (Connie) of Brigden and Kathy Cain (Des Hayles) of Sarnia. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. She was predeceased by her daughter Debra White and by her father Howard Pryor. Gloria was previously employed by GLIS in Corunna for 16 years and was a member of the Corunna Legion Sewing Club. Friends will be received at the Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Wednesday April 21, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday with Angela MacDonald officiating.
