Greg Stoudt

Stoudt- Peacefully surrounded by his family, Frederic “Greg” Stoudt passed away at Victoria Hospital in London at the age of 74. Loving husband of 40 years to Annette Stoudt (nee DeBell). Dear father of Jeff (Carrie) Stoudt, Kelly (Mark) Gibson and Kathryn (Shawn) Zettel. Treasured grandpa to Avery (Micayla) Stoudt, Quinn and Grace Zettel, Trent and Vera Gibson. Greg was pre-deceased by his mother, Mary Kathryn (John) Kaupp-MacPherson; half sisters Sherrie Stoudt Davis, Terry Stoudt Clive and his cherished daughter, Joanie Stoudt. Greg leaves behind his special cousin Betty Lynn (Mark) Kautz; half siblings Bill (Sandra) Stoudt, Chris (Kelli) Stoudt, Penny (Bill) Everett; “Rotten Kid” Erica (Krumholtz) Baniheshemi whom he loved like a daughter and many special friends. Born in Port Huron, he moved to Lambton County with his mother when he was 12. Greg was employed at Dupont/Nova St. Clair River Site for 47 years. He was a volunteer firefighter with St. Clair Township Fire, Corunna Station for 33 years, 18 of which he served as Chief. He was a Past President of the Corunna Legion Branch #447 and was a member of Sarnia Street Cruisers. Friends will be received at the Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Thursday December 8, 2022 from 4-6 p.m. where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday with Chaplain Kevin McGlade officiating. Cremation will follow with interment in Lakeview Cemetery, Sarnia at a later date. In lieu of flowers sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the London Regional Cancer Clinic or to the Corunna Firefighters 1925 Lafrance Truck Restoration Fund.
