Gunther Tippelt

Tippelt- Peacefully surrounded by his wife and children at the L.H.S.C. – University Hospital, London on Thursday, January 24, 2019. Gunther Tippelt, age 75 years of Mooretown. Beloved husband of 52 years to Mary Ann (Baletto) Tippelt. Much loved father of Robert John Tippelt (Shari) and Krista Lynne Metzinger (Jim). Treasured grandfather of Sydney, Justin, Scottie, Jenna, Samantha and Jessica all of Texas. Gunther is also survived by; his mother, Katharina; his brother, Eric Tippelt (Heather); his sister-in-law, Lena Guerra and by numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Otto. Friends will be received at the Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Monday January 28, 2019 from 4-7 p.m. where prayers will be offered at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph’s Church, Corunna on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to St. Joseph’s Church RMR Fund for Pew Restoration or to the charity of one’s choice.     I am shocked and deeply saddened to hear about Gunther. I wish to send you all my love and sympathy during this the hardest of times. I regret I am unable to attend in person to offer my respect to life of a great man. I will always remember and treasure the sound of Gunther's voice for reason it is the strongest part of all my memories of him I will hold tight to his memory.     I am so sorry for your loss. I am also sorry that I did not see you both at the 50th anniversary of our Eng.'66 class in 2016. I was always very envious of the years you spent in Trinidad – after a week like we just had, especially so! I hope you and the rest of your family are doing reasonably well in difficult circumstances.
