Tippelt- Peacefully surrounded by his wife and children at the L.H.S.C. – University Hospital, London on Thursday, January 24, 2019. Gunther Tippelt, age 75 years of Mooretown. Beloved husband of 52 years to Mary Ann (Baletto) Tippelt. Much loved father of Robert John Tippelt (Shari) and Krista Lynne Metzinger (Jim). Treasured grandfather of Sydney, Justin, Scottie, Jenna, Samantha and Jessica all of Texas. Gunther is also survived by; his mother, Katharina; his brother, Eric Tippelt (Heather); his sister-in-law, Lena Guerra and by numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Otto. Friends will be received at the Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Monday January 28, 2019 from 4-7 p.m. where prayers will be offered at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph’s Church, Corunna on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to St. Joseph’s Church RMR Fund for Pew Restoration or to the charity of one’s choice.
