Harriet Robertson

Robertson-It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing for Harriet Theresa Robertson (née Campbell). Harriet passed peacefully at Bluewater Health Sarnia on Monday February 20, 2023 surrounded by loved ones on Family Day. Survived by her husband of 60 years Donald, children Kate (Martin) Eccles, Donna (Dale) Hodgins, Jeff (Sandy) Robertson and Stephanie (Rob) McBean, as well as by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also survived by her sisters Mauree Luck, Colette (Alf) Blaney,. , brother in law Ray Chivers  and Very special sister-in-law and best friend Dana (Bob) Kerr. Harriet is predeceased by her parents Rose and Lewis, brothers Frank and Joe, sister Ursula and brother-in-law Jack. Born in N. Ireland, she immigrated to Canada in 1960 where she lived in Toronto before moving to Corunna. Harriet spent over 2 decades battling Parkinson’s Disease both as a patient and as a very competitive fund-raiser for the Parkinson’s Society. Thank you to the kind staff of Marshall Gowland Manor and compassionate staff at Bluewater Health Sarnia for keeping our beloved family member comfortable during the last years and hours of her life. Friends will be received at the Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Friday February 24, 2023 from 4-6 p.m. where a funeral service will be held on Saturday February 25, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with Deacon Chuck Stevens officiating. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Parkinson’s Society of Southwestern Ontario.
