Lester- Peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Twin Lakes Terrace, Sarnia on Saturday November 26, 2011. Harvey John Lester, age 93 years formerly of Corunna. Beloved husband of 61 years to the late Jean Lester (2005). Dear father of Bruce Lester and his wife Val, Gail Lester and Mike Lester and his wife Lori all of Sarnia. Loving grandfather of Ryan, Courtney, Ben, Kayla and Brooke. Harvey is also survived by; his sisters-in-law, Lois Dixon of Kincardine and Fern Gormley of Corunna and by his brother-in-law, Jim Dixon (Pauline) of Petrolia. He was predeceased by; his parents, John and Eliza Lester; sister, Catherine Newman and by his brothers, Bob, Charlie and Lyle. Harvey was a member of the Moore Masonic Lodge for over 50 years, was retired from Union Gas after 42 years of service, was a long time member of Corunna United Church and was an avid gardener. A private family funeral service will be held at the Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna with Rev. Janet Uren officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Sarnia.
