Dobson – Peacefully at the Bluewater Health-Palliative Care Unit, Sarnia on Sunday December 27, 2015. Ilene Dobson, age 86 yrs. of Courtright. Beloved wife of 45 years to the late Robert “Bob” Dobson (2001). Much loved mother of Barb Buckingham (Jake) of Courtright, Brenda Postil (Greg) of Sarnia, Beverlee McGregor (Gord) of Petrolia, Bobbie Mitchell (Larry) of Brigden and John Dobson (Pam) of Mooretown. Treasured grandmother of Karah, Danielle, Jaclyn, Laura, Angela, Chad, Nicole, Alexandra, Abbrielle, Aleeza and Aaron and great-grandmother of Mason, Parker and Charlotte. Loving sister of Grace Ross of Alvinston, Sam Fleming of Corunna and Peter Fleming (Mabel) of Edmonton. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. She was predeceased by; her brothers, Ivan Fleming, Leonard Fleming, Archie Fleming, Arnold Fleming and Jim Fleming and by her sister, Marguerite Gowing. Ilene was a longtime member of Courtright United Church and was a co-founder with her husband Bob of Watson Tim Br Mart in 1965. Friends will be received at the Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Friday January 8, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where a Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday January 9, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jill Rogers officiating. Cremation has already taken place. In lieu of flowers sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to Courtright United Church or to St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia.
