Knudsen- Peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Bluewater Health, Sarnia on Saturday November 29, 2014. John “Jack” Frederick Knudsen, age 90 years of Corunna. Beloved husband of 70 years to Madeline “Tiny” Knudsen. Loving brother-in-law of Evelyn Kilbreath of Sarnia, Marg Albert of Corunna and Dorothy Knudsen of London. Treasured uncle to special nieces and nephews; Gary Albert, Debbie Ogilvie, Janet Phibbs, Kelly Moore, Tim Murphy, Nancy Robinson and Barbara Conte. Jack was predeceased by; his parents, Leeland and Adelia Knudsen; his brothers, Ken and Stu Knudsen; his sisters, Barbara Rochon, Jean Knudsen and Connie Cribbin; sister-in-law, Betty Murphy and brother-in-law Bud Quinn. Jack served in the Navy during W.W. II and was retired from Polysar. Friends will be received at the Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway Corunna, on Monday December 1, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph’s Church, Corunna on Tuesday December 2, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. with Fr. Jan Pochwala celebrating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.     We will miss you Jack. You made me laugh every time I cut your hair. We will miss your friendly “hello” that you would call out to us from your porch when we would be in our backyard in the nice weather. Rest in peace, Jack.
