She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Paul (2014) and by her son John (2023). In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held in Sutherland Cemetery, Courtright in the summer. As expressions of sympathy friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Bluewater Health Palliative Care Unit.
