Lopes- Peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Vision Nursing Home, Sarnia on Monday June 4, 2018 Jaime “Jimmy” Lopes, age 85 yrs formerly of Courtright. Beloved husband of 55 years to Maria. Loving father of Margaritta Lopes (Shawn Kameka) of Sarnia, Lourdes Greensheilds of Sarnia, Elizabeth Lopes of Sarnia, Jaime Lopes and his wife Erika of Corunna and Esther Lopes of Sarnia. Treasured grandfather of Lauren, Dylan, Sophia, Allyce, Steven, Julia, Ethan, Emma, Reis and Reina. Jimmy was a determined individual who came to Canada in the 1950’s with a can do attitude and was not afraid to take on any challenge. He will be fondly remembered for his friendly demeanour, infectious smile and warm welcome at Tin Horton’s. Friends will be received at Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Thursday June 7, 2018 from 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph’s Church, Corunna on Friday June 8, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. with Fr. Dan Vere celebrating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Corunna.
