Brigham- Peacefully with dignity and grace at St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia, after a long and courageous battle on Tuesday January1, 2013. John Charles Brigham, age 59 years of Corunna. Beloved husband of 26 years to Shelley (Stockall). Loving brother of Chris Brigham and his wife Brenda of Sarnia. He will be greatly missed by Mary Grace Wightman (the late Ivan) of Brucefield. John is also survived by; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Nancy and Bill Stockall of Sarnia and his brother-in-law, Dan Stockall of Hamilton. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and by his co-workers who fondly nick named him “Johnny Ditch Witch” and he shall truly be missed by his feline companions, Boris and Bertie Boy. He was predeceased by his sisters, Kathy and Anita and by his brothers, Douglas and Jim. To honour his memory of gardening friends are encouraged to plant a rosebush or to stroll through a garden and enjoy the fragrance and beauty. Friends will be received at the Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Saturday January 5, 2013 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. where a celebration of life will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Canon Nick Wells officiating. Cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy friends who wish may make a memorial donation to St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia so others can peacefully prepare for their infinite journey.
