John Bruton

Bruton-John Manson Bruton passed away suddenly on February 27th, 2020 at Lambton Meadowview Villa in Petrolia. Born October 9, 1946, the eldest son and predeceased by his dedicated parents, Gordon and Edith Bruton (Southern). John was a life-long member of Corunna United Church where he was a faithful and much-loved volunteer. He enjoyed the loyal friendships and support of many cousins, family friends and church members. John showed his keen interest in people by keeping in touch through phone calls and internet messages. We all have fond memories of John's unique turns of phrase and his love of wildlife and nature, especially on trips north to the cottage on Haliburton Lake, which he loved. He was a good man, who always tried to do his best. Cremation has taken place and due to the current COVID situation a private family interment service will be held at Resurrection Cemetery. 1. Hello Lizzie, Jim and Bob. Rarely do I look at obituaries in the Sarnia Observer. Obviously I did this morning and saw John's death. I am sorry. John had some challenging struggles and he dealt with them well. Lizzie I lost your e-address years ago when I dropped my computer and lost everything. I'd love to hear from you. I hope you are all well. My thoughts are with you.
