John Fleckie

Fleckie- Unexpectedly but peacefully at Bluewater Health, Sarnia on Friday July3, 2015. John Henry Fleckie, age 60 yrs. of Corunna. Much loved father of Jason Fleckie. Dear brother of Bill Fleckie and his wife Diane and brother-in-law of Jean Montminy and Bob Shanks all of Corunna. Several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews also survive. John was predeceased by; his parents, Orvan and Doris Fleckie and by his sisters, Barb Montminy (1992) and Bonnie Shanks (2009). He was a lifelong Corunna resident and was a retired member of Labourers Local # 1089. Friends will be received at the Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Tuesday July 7, 2015 from 6-9 p.m. Cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service will be held. As expressions of sympathy friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Kidney Foundation of Canada or to the charity of one’s choice.     Very shocked to hear of johns passing!! I saw and talked with him often! He always loved to stop and chat!! John was a very nice man, loving and compassionate!! So sad that he has passed away!!

  6. John was leaving WalMart a few months ago and he recognized me and I remembered him. He stopped and we had a quick chat. So sorry to see that he has passed at such a young age. My sympathy to all the family.
