Smart- Peacefully at the Bluewater Health- Norman St. Site, Sarnia on Sunday November 23, 2008. John Thomas Smart aged 104 yrs. of Corunna. Beloved husband of the late Ann Smart (1999). Dear father of Christine Hart and her husband Doug of Corunna. Loving grandfather of Julie Clark and her husband Ian of Courtright, Debbie Ferrera and her husband Renzo of Mooretown and Greg Hart of Pettawawa. Great-grandfather of Brittany, Emma, Nicholas, Evan, Christian, Jacob, Payton, Gabriel and Ainsley. John emigrated to Canada in 1980 and leaves behind many nieces and nephews abroad. He was a 28 year resident of Thompson Gardens in Corunna. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at the Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Friday November 28, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. George Bell officiating.
