Cherski– Peacefully at his residence with his wife by his side on Tuesday September 12, 2023. Klaus Dieter Cherski, age 82 years of Coruuna. Beloved husband and best friend of Elaine (nee Hudgens) for 19 years. Dear father of Jake Cherski of Sarnia and Kelli Joefield of Courtright. Loving grandfather of Kori, Taylor, Erik and Marcus. Klaus will be fondly remembered by; his brother, Steve Harvard (Ann) of Victoria, BC; brothers-in-law, George Hudgens (Judi) and Bill Hudgens and sister-in-law, Patty Felthaus. Numerous nieces, nephews and close friends also survive. Klaus was a longtime member of Local # 663 Plumbers, Pipefitters and Welders Union. In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held in the Spring of 2024. In lieu of flowers sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia or to the charity of one’s choice.
