  1. I am so sorry to see this Leslie, our thoughts and prayers are with you & Hudson. Although I did not know Kyle very well I know how much he enjoyed following Hudson in sports. He was a proud dad & enjoyed those moments from what I witnessed. I am sure that he will be with you both observing from afar. Although far to young to be taken from you all, hold close those memories that you have from the past. 🙏

I am so sorry to hear about Kyle’s passing. I am shocked and extremely saddened to hear of Kyle’s unexpected loss. Words cannot be said to comfort you in such difficult times, but I am thinking of all of you. Every time I think back to my childhood and teenage years, so many funny and fond memories flood my mind and I can’t stop thinking about him. He was a great friend, amazing line-mate and overall unforgettable person. I was in Huntsville when I heard of his passing and strangely enough not far from the place where Kyle was the first one to pick me up after being hit by a car when we were there for a hockey tournament. Rest in peace Ronzy, you will be missed and heaven has gained an amazing angel to look over us! Miss you buddy!

  13. Leslie, Hudson, Dexter, Sherin, Kirk & Family & the Bothwell family circle,

This one hurts no doubt. My heart & prayers go out to all of you & those who were fortunate enough to know Kyle. I am thinking of all of you. Kyle was a friend & mentored me in many different ways that he probably didn’t even realize. I have been out of this province & was hoping to reconnect with him. Kyle was a very kind soul to myself & my family & we certainly had some good laughs. I am very grateful for having him in my life as a friend. I’m not sure there are enough words I can write to express my deepest gratitude. Kyle had an extremely infectious laugh & smile. He lit up this community. I am very proud of his family & loved ones & the many good folk from Lambton County. Its no doubt a very special community and it people like Kyle that help shape it into what it truly is. If I can share a quick story… Kyle picked me up one day to go play hockey. I remember Mr. Bothwell’s white pick up truck. I remember I noticed there was no radio & I said, “Kyle there is no radio in here?” He said, “Yeah Sorry about that..” I said absolutely not a problem. We can listen the warm, hot cool or cold air I guess. Kyle laughed and the banter continued with creative ways with how we could make music or noise. I’ll never forget this ride down river road. Brings tears to my eyes. Loved this brother. No radio, no cell phones, no distractions just a wholesome moment & good conversing with Kyle that I will never ever forget. For those who were fortunate enough to know him. Hold this good soul in your hearts. I sure do. I believe The Creator has called him back for some reason. We may never know however I can only imagine. As much as this hurts I am confident he is at peace. Much love to you Kyle Andrew Bothwell and your family. You will always be in my heart. Come together people. I certainly pride myself on this community as well as the many other good souls out there tat make this community.

    Sincerely Our Deepest Condolences,

    The Berry Family.

I am deeply saddened to hear about Kyle. I can’t stop thinking about him and our fun high school times together. I still have my pencil case with KAB on it in liquid paper that he took upon himself to decorate. I hope you find peace in the many cherished memories you have of him. Take good care.

Kyle was one of the first people to be on a lacrosse bench with me as a coach. He taught me a lot. Although our paths really only passed during the lacrosse season, it’s like he was a friend I had as a kid. He taught me a lot as I began to coach, especially intensity lol. We enjoyed lacrosse together, complained about it, watched it, complained some more and most of all, loved it. I know he loved to watch Hudson play. I am a Haudenosaunee person. Lacrosse is a part of my culture. Lacrosse is medicine, lacrosse is healing. Lacrosse brought this great man and his family into my life with my family. I’m honoured to have had a great friendship with Kyle. I will utilize what he has taught me and always let people know what I have learned from him.

My condolences to Leslie, Hudson and the family and friends of Kyle.
