Leanne Haddon

Haddon – Peacefully with her husband by her side at L.H.S.C. – Victoria Hospital, London, on Tuesday June 21, 2011after a long, courageous and determined battle with cancer. Leanne Marion Haddon( nee Brock), aged 45years of Corunna. Much loved wife of Randy. Loving mother of Tyler, Sarah and Macgregor. Also left to mourn her passing are; her father, Bruce Brock of Sarnia; her brother, Mike Brock and his wife Judy of Burlington; her sister, Lori Black and her husband Dwayne of Sarnia; her brother, Paul Brock and Amy of London; her mother-in-law, Margaret Chalmers of Sarnia; sisters-in-law, Andrea Guthrie and her husband Mitch of Sarnia and Janice Haddon of Hamilton and her brother-in-law, Mike Haddon and his wife Alice of Sarnia. Numerous aunt, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive. She was predeceased by her mother Marion, her sister-in-law, Nancy; her father-in-law, Oliver Haddon and step-father-in-law, Les Chalmers. Leanne was actively involved in nursing for nearly 25 years and enjoyed her time spent working for Dr’s Peter and Kathy Wakely and Dr. Robert Borek. Friends will be received at the Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Friday June 24, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday with Rev. George Bell officiating. Cremation will follow and a private family interment will be held in Lakeview Cemetery at a later date. As expressions of sympathy friends who wish may send memorial donations to the London Regional Cancer Clinic or to St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia.     I’m so sorry to hear about Leanne. I have been away and I apoligize for my absence. Leanne and I kept in touch via email and were planning on getting together this summer. She loved her family very much. She also kept her sense of humour in check every time we connected. There are no words I can say to lighten the load of grief you carry with you. I just wanted you to know that I am thinking about all of you. Darcie xo
