Death Notice
White- Peacefully surrounded by her loving family following a lengthy illness at Bluewater Health Sarnia on Sunday, March 24, 2019. Linda Ann White, aged 71 yrs of Sarnia. Much loved mother of Beth Squire and her husband Wayne. Treasured grandmother of Luke Leach and his wife Tia and great-grandmother of Arya and Vada all of Sarnia. Dear sister of Howard McKellar (Maureen) and Stuart McKellar (Mary Lou) all of St. Clair Township. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Linda was predeceased by her longtime companion, Peter Postma (2016) and by her parents, Ross (2005) and Ina (2016) McKellar. Linda was a lifetime attendee and member of Knox-Moore Presbyterian Church having been a part of the choir and Ladies Aid for a number of years. She was an active member of the Brigden Fair Board and was a volunteer with many charitable organizations. Friends will be received at the Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Friday March 29, 2019 from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. where a funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Ian Marnoch officiating. Interment will follow in Bear Creek Cemetery, Brigden. As expressions of sympathy friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Knox-Moore Presbyterian Church, Bluewater Health Foundation or to the Charity of One’s Choice.   1. I am so sad to hear Linda has passed. Her last months have been so hard . We have prayed daily for her and now pray that she is safe in the arms of the Lord she served well. To her family my condolences. Remember her for all the wonderful things she was. A great Mom, a very devoted daughter, a wonderful sister, a good friend, a talented singer, and a very proud Grandma.

    Ill. She was patient and hardworking during her illness. I imagine her friends and family will miss her immensely. I am glad I met her. LENY

    I've known Linda for a couple years. I attend the birthday suppers at Skeeters in Bright's Grove.
    She was a very nice lady. We had great conversation and laughs.

  6. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to all the family of Linda at the sadness her passings brings. She was a kind hearted person with a calmness about her that I am sure comforted many while she was with you.
