Sorry to hear of the passing of your mom. I remember her from Heather’s wedding and various visits to SEMC as a lovely mom and grandmother who was very proud of her family. Hugs & prayers,

  4. To the Werden Family: I pass on my sincere condolences to all of you. My parents were Bill and Alice Thompson and Mom was a great friend of Margaret’s. I spent a lot of time with the two “mother’s” and enjoyed Margaret’s company. I had lost track of her after Mom died in 2018, but she was always in my thoughts. She was a wonderful person of great faith and compassion. I know her death will leave a huge void in your family but I hope the great memories and lessons she taught will sustain you. I am especially thinking of you Mary and will be unable to attend the service as I will be away. Wish I was able to come.
    Sincerely Anne (Thompson) Wright.

We are so pleased to have known Margaret. She was such a sweet lady. We celebrated her 90th birthday at the church. We enjoyed visits with her. She attended services regularly and always enjoyed coffee hour after the service. We think of you, her family, at this time and will keep you in our prayers.

  10. My sincere sympathy to the family of Margaret Werden: Margaret was a wonderful lady with deep faith and compassion. I met Marg through UCW. I acted as her Corresponding Secretary when she served as President of Lambton Presbyterial UCW in 1994-95. She set a wonderful example and an inspiration for me to become the President several years later. She will be dearly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Wilma Johnson

A beautiful soul. Margaret always had something interesting and nice to talk about. She truly was a good person. May she find her rest in the arms of her Lord.

Margaret will always be remembered as our grandmother at family birthday gatherings, ecumenical presentations, graduations, award presentations, Christmases and so many other parts of her life. She had a deep kindness to so many people and to her Church. She was the best and closest neighbour anyone could ever want in their lives. Every family member included us in celebrating life and Ralph and Martha visited us with Margaret by their side in the car. R.I.P. Margaret. We can pray to you now and always feel your warmth and comfort.
God Bless all of you as you grieve her life and loss. Pat and Norm Triest

My sincere sympathy to the Werden family on the loss of such a sweet Mother/Gandmother.
Margaret always brought a smile to my face as she was so tiny, kind and a joy to see at LMV.
I loved the kindness shown from the grandchildren who had flowers delivered on a regular basis to brighten her day. Margaret loved them.
I never was able to put her in my pocket and take her home as I had hoped but she sure was lucky to be surrounded by such a loving family.
I will miss all of you who would come in regularly but know I’m thinking of you all during this sad time.

I have many memories of your mother and knew her as a rare and beautiful soul, and I feel so blessed to have known her. Her kindness and beautiful qualities will live on by the wonderful children she raised. May you find strength in all of your wonderful memories together. She will never be far from your heart.
