Newby- Peacefully in Sarnia at the Bluewater Health Palliative Care Unit, on Tuesday October 6, 2020. Marianne Dora Newby, age 71 years of Corunna. Loving mother of Roger Newby, Gord Newby and his wife Anita and Tim Newby. Much loved grandmother of Heaven, Payton and Savanah and great-grandmother of Kiara and Sophia. Dear sister of Jim Parr, Stephen Parr and the late Bonnie Jean Parr. Marianne was predeceased by her parents, Roy and Louise Parr. Marianne was a longtime active member of the Corunna Legion Ladies Auxiliary. The family will be holding a visitation at the Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna. It will be by invitation only and due to COVID-19 you are required to wear masks/face coverings and social distancing must be maintained at all times. Maximum visitors at one time will be strictly enforced. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date when current events allow. My heartfelt condolences going out to the families of Marianne Newby . Although I never met her, I have the pleasure of knowing her boys . I spend a week or more with Gord deer hunting up north and have for 20 years or more . They say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. If this statement is true Marianne must have been fantastic lady
