Patterson–Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Lambton Meadowview Villa, Petrolia, on Tuesday February 7, 2017. Jean “Marie†Patterson, age 88 yrs of Corunna. Beloved wife of the late Harold Patterson (2010). Loving mother of Linda Szusz (David) of Windsor, Brenda Thacker (George) of Sechelt, BC and Brian Patterson (Jayne) of Corunna. Treasured grandmother of 8 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Marie is survived by her sister-in-law, Noreen Armstrong of London and by numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by; her sisters, Ruth Patterson and Lois Strong and by her brothers, Keith, Rae, Donald, Alec and Robert Armstrong. Friends will be received at the Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Friday February 10, 2017 from 5-8 p.m. where a funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. John Cruickshank officiating. Interment will follow in Moore-Union Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy friends who wish may send memorial donations to Thompson Gardens, Corunna or to the charity of one’s choice. I am blessed to have had such an exceptional Aunt (alternate mother)in my life that it makes it hard to say good bye.
