Ostachuk- Peacefully after a long and courageous battle with cancer at the Bluewater Health-Palliative Care Unit, Sarnia on Saturday April 18, 2015. Marilyn June Ostachuk, age 75 yrs. of Corunna. Beloved wife of Joe Ostachuk for 52 years. Loving mother of Pauline Ostachuk (Ken) and Bryan Ostachuk (Courtney) all of Corunna. Treasured grandmother of Hope. Marilyn is also survived by; her sister, Beverley Stewart (late Jim) of Kincardine; special friends, Bill and Patty Pauling of Corunna and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by; her parents, James (1968) and Gladys (2006) Hamilton and by her brother, Robert Hamilton (2005). The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to Dr. Allison Crombeen and the Palliative Care Unit Team at Bluewater Health for their care and compassion shown to them during this difficult time. Friends will be receive at Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Monday, April 20, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday April 21, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Blair Corcoran officiating. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Sarnia.
