Douglass-Peacefully at Vision Nursing Home, Sarnia, on Thursday December 30, 2010. Marvel Juanita Douglass, aged 82 yrs formerly of Hill St.,Corunna. Beloved wife of 63 years to the late Edward “Ed” Douglass (2009). Loving mother of Larry Douglass and his wife Darlene of Corunna, Lorry Douglass and his wife Wendy of Prince George, B.C. and Juanita Will and her husband Leonard of Dorchester. Dear grandmother of Rod, Ryan, Bill, Courtney, Carissa and Tamara. Also survived by 9 great-grandchildren; her sisters-in-law, Marie Benedict of Corunna, Ora Baxter of Arkona, Velma Skam of Wyoming and Nellie Douglass of Sarnia and by her brother-in-law, Harold Douglass of Sarnia. Predeceased by her parents, Andrew (1960) and Ferol (1974) Benedict; her sisters, Helen Quinn (1988), Dorothy Benedict (1927) and by her brother Percy Benedict (1994). Marvel was a longtime member of Corunna United Church. Friends will be received at the Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Monday January 3, 2011 from 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday with Allan McKeown officiating.
