Dear Alexis, Nick and families. I am so saddened to hear of your Dad’s passing. Such fond memories of him as a friend and neighbour in the late 70’s. What a soft spoken, kind man, with a wonderful sense of humour. I’m sure he has left you with precious memories, hold them close as I’m sure you will.

  6. So sorry to hear that 2nd cousin Mike has passed away. We had some great times growing up together and I remember fondly the family get togethers at Great Uncle Peter’s place. He will be remembered always for the wonderful guy that he was.

  7. I spent a year living 2 doors down from Mike on Beresford and remember Mike as a wonderfully gentle and kind man with a delightful sense of humour. Mike was a consummate host who held his door open for all, and was quick to offer help to anyone in need. I remember one particular “pierogi-party” when several of us gathered at the Mohawk and before we were finished making every kind of pierogi known to Man, both us and the house were covered in a thick cloud of flour! I am so sad to know that Mike is no longer with us, but I feel richer for having known him and give thanks for a lot of great memories. My heartfelt wishes for strength and courage go out to you, and I wish you peace in your memories of a truly well-loved Gentleman.

  8. Nick & Alexis, so sorry to hear about your Dad. I was away & just heard yesterday.

He was a great guy & we always had a good laugh when we ran into each other. Mike will be sorely missed.

My thoughts & prayers are with you.

    Steve
