Penney, Muriel “Molly” Elizabeth- We are in sorrow- she is in total joy. We see the separation-she is in the presence of her Lord. We know weeping-she has had her tears wiped away. We share a deep loss-she has gained a crown that will not fade away. We are aware of her absence- she has been welcomed home. It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Muriel “Molly” Elizabeth Penney of Mooretown and formerly Glencoe, on Saturday May 25, 2013 at the age of 89 years. Beloved wife of the late Lincoln Penney (1998). Left to mourn her passing are; her children, Robert Penney and his wife Janet of Corunna, Sharon Norris and her husband Terry of Sarnia, Stephen Penney of British Columbia, Donna Nisbet and her husband Ron of Mooretown and Greg Penney of West Lorne; her grandchildren, David and Kylee Penney, Laura Penney, Tom and Becky Norris, Heather Norris, Matthew and Shannon Nisbet, Bradley, Carolyn, and Olivia Nisbet, Emily Penney and her three great-grandchildren. Born in Little Harbour, Nova Scotia on August 3, 1923 she is also survived by; her siblings, Lola Noseworthy, Doris Caulier, Warren Aikens all of Little Harbour, N.S., Eva and Diane Aikens of Dartmouth, N.S. Isabel Snow and Helen Bonvie of New Glasgow, N.S.; brother-in-law, Clem Guthro of Little Harbour, N.S. and sisters-in-law, Marie Brown of Boston, Maude Noseworthy of Wallaceburg and Victoria Chamberlain of Sarnia. She was predeceased by her siblings, Lloyd Aikens, Evelyn Guthro and Carolyn Stevenson. Friends will be received at the Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Tuesday May 28th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Parkway Pentecostal Church, Corunna on Wednesday May 29th at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Jay Black officiating. Interment will follow in Moore-Union Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy friends who wish may send memorial donations to Molly’s special charity-Parkway Pentecostal Church Missions Fund.
