Pat Taggart

Taggart- On Monday, January 7, 2013, Patricia (Pat) Veronica (Watkins) Taggart passed away peacefully in her sleep. Pat is predeceased by her beloved husband Stanley (1997) and is survived by her daughter Kathryn and her husband Tim and by her son James and his partner Kerry. She is also survived by three sisters, Maeve and her late husband Neville Johnston, Frances McBurney and her husband Jack and Josephine Gore and her husband Andrew. Pat was loved dearly by 9 nieces and nephews and by 10 grand nieces and nephews. She has lived in Corunna since 1977 and has many friends she met through St. Joseph’s Church where she was a proud member of the C.W.L. for 35 years. She was also a proud hockey mom in the M.M.H.A. and was beloved in her neighbourhood. She touched so many people in special ways. The family would like to thank some special friends who have taken care of Pat since Stanley passed away and they include, Joan and Lyle Lalonge, Floy Routhier, Des and Gerri Hamill, Nellie Selman, Marie Ysebaert, Pauline Murray, Annettte McCallum and the late Norma Bagnarol. Your love and friendship is appreciated more then words can express. The family would also like to thank the Doctors and staff at Bluewater Health for the care and compassion shown to Pat in her final days. Friends will be received at the Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Wednesday January 9, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Church, Corunna on Thursday January 10, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation will follow. As expressions of sympathy friends who wish may make a memorial donation to the Inn of the Good Shepherd or to St. Joseph’s Church Building Fund.
