Seward- Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Bluewater Health-Palliative Care Unit, Sarnia on Tuesday February 11, 2014. Patricia “Pat” Evelyn Seward (LaPier), age 84 years of Corunna. Beloved wife of the late James “Jim” Seward (1995). Loving mother of Kathy White and her husband Eric and Mike Seward and his wife Cathy all of Mooretown, Steve Seward of Corunna, Pat Seward and his wife Cindy and Jim Seward and Peggy all of Courtright. Dear grandmother of Kristine, Steven, Alan, Craig, Lynn and Chad, Chris and Stacey, Laura and Eric, Jamie, Josh and Tanya and Nick and great-grandmother of Naula. Much loved sister of Sally Selinger and her husband Jack of Sarnia, Joe LaPier of Oil Springs, Liz McKegan and her husband John of Corunna and Tom LaPier and his wife Marlene of Petrolia. Pat is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Vicki Milliken and her husband Wayne of Corunna and Lola Randall and her husband Bill of Sarnia. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. She was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Agnes LaPier; her brothers, George, Charles, Jim and Jack and by her sisters, Catherine and Margaret. Pat was a member of the St. Joseph’s Church C.W.L. for over 60 years. Friends will be received at the Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway Corunna on Thursday February 13, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be offered at 3:45 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph’s Church, Corunna on Friday February 14, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. with Fr. Jan Pochwala celebrating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
