Patty Pauling

Pauling- After a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her family, Patty Pauling, age 61 yrs of Corunna passed away on August 20, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia. She leaves behind Bill Pauling her husband of 41 years; her son’s, Cory Pauling and Randy (Claire) Pauling; her precious grandchildren, Evan Ellen Pauling and Levi Walter Pauling all of Corunna. She is also survived by; her sister, Elaine Nickles; her brother, Walter John (Sarah) Reaume; her brothers-in-law, Ron (Debby) Kennedy and Jeff (Bev) Pauling and by sister-in-law, Christina Pauling. She was a special aunt to Kimberly (Jessie) Sylvester, Krista (Craig) Kennedy, Brent (Melissa) Nickles, Craig (Christine) Nickles, Jake and Luke Reaume, Tiffany Nielson and Blaine (Julee) Pauling and great-aunt to Brayden, Nathan, Keegan, Chase, Cody, Courtney and Trevor. Patty will be dearly missed by her special friends Pauline and Joe Ostachuck. She was predeceased by; her parents, Walter (1985) and Rita (1978) Reaume; her sister, Barb Kennedy (2011); her niece, Jessica Reaume (2007) and by her dear friend Marilyn Ostachuck. Patty retired in January 2014 after 27 years with Ontario Works. She loved to garden, staying close to home with her family near and she enjoyed those special fun times with her pup Suzie. Friends will be received at the Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Monday August 24, 2015 from 6-9 p.m. where a celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday August 25, 2015 at 11:00a.m. with Deanna Gibson officiating. Cremation has already taken place. In lieu of flowers sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia or to the Sarnia and District Humane Society.
