Parker- Peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday June 5, 2025. John David “Percy” Parker, age 73 years of Corunna. Loving husband of the late Nicole “Nicky” Parker (2014). Much loved father of Carrie-Lynn Gavigan (Ryan) and Chris Parker (Robin Williams) all of Corunna. Treasured grandfather of Corrigan, Lynkoln and Layghtyn. Percy will be fondly remembered by the Joseph family. He was predeceased by; his grandson Reegan Gavigan; his sister, Jane Parker and by his parents, Percy and Helen Parker. Percy enjoyed the fact that his grandchildren lived close by and enjoyed all the time he got to spend with them. He worked at Shell as a Stationery Engineer and retired in 2012. He was an avid fisherman and a fan of many sports, most notably hockey. He enjoyed his many trips travelling with Nicky in their motorhome and could quite often be found at the Corunna Legion where he was a member. In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Wednesday June 11, 2025 from 5-7 p.m. for a formal visitation. For those unable to attend the visitation a celebration of his life will be held at the Corunna Legion 350 Albert St. Corunna on Saturday June 14, 2025 from 1-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Bluewater Health Oncology Department or to Ronald McDonald House in London. For many years Rob hung on to FANG only to pass back to you for Chris. 🎶 🎸 🎵 Rob was so happy to enjoy a visit recently and capture a Pic together with Fang. Load up that motorhome in the sky and restart your travels with Nicky. Rest in peace PPP

To a wonderful friend and neighbour, you were truly one of a kind. Percy we will miss that gruff voice as you shout hello from your porch. Your squirrels have spread peanuts all around our gardens and each time we find another we will look up and smile thinking of you. To Chris and Carrie, and your families, you showed the true meaning of love and took care of your Dad until the sunset. I am saddened by this news. Percy was a crewmate at Shell in the late 70’s till the 90’s. So many crazy, fun times. Stories that cant be told unless you were there. Love you PPP. THE WORLD IS A MUCH DIMMER PLACE WITHOUT YOU IN IT ! Peace be with you amigo and to your family
