Axani- Peacefully with his family by his side at Bluewater Health, Sarnia on Sunday February 9, 2020. Robert “Bob” Axani passed away at the age of 69 years. Beloved husband of the late Barbara (2016). He was loved by; his children, Brad (Kathy), Brent and Karen (Dave); his cherished grandchildren, Taylor, Erin (Alex), Samantha (Jake), Christopher, Nicholas, Jacob and his great-granddaughter, Parker. He will be remembered by; his sister, Donna and nephews, Phillipe and Gregory. Bob was a volunteer fire-fighter in Courtright for many years. No matter if he was getting ready to sit at the table for dinner or sleeping to go into work or a shift, if that siren went off he would go. He retired at age 62 from the Moore Site of Nova Chemicals. Since retirement his love for golf grew as he would plan out all the golf courses he was going to go to weeks in advance. In keeping with his wishes a small private intimate service will be held for his family followed by interment in Moore-Union Cemetery, Mooretown. As expressions of sympathy friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the charity of one’s choice. Arrangements entrusted to Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna. Messages and condolences may be left online at www.knightfuneralhome.ca Knight 519-862-2845

To all of Bob's family.
I worked many years with my fellow Hab's fan Bob.
We had many good discussions about the Canadiens, among many other things.
Please know that Bob was a good teammate and very hard worker.
I will remember him fondly and keep him and all of you in my prayers.
