Robert "Bob" South

SOUTH- Robert “Bob” South of Courtright passed away suddenly at Bluewater Health on Saturday, April 11, 2020 at the age of 65. Beloved husband of Karen. Dear father of Jim South, Steve (Amy) South, Stacey Thompson, Tracy (Andy) Woodward, Ryan (Kelley) Royce and AJ Royce. Loving grandfather to Natasha, Brittny, Braydon, Abigale, Meaghan, Nevaeh, Nya, Ryan, Henry, Elizabeth and Lauren. Brother of Larry (Linda) South and Alan (Bea) South. Bob is predeceased by his parents Clare and Dorothy South, brother and sister-in-law Dave and Dee Dee South and grandson Parker Woodward. Bob was a proud member of the Insulators Local 95. Immediate family members shared a private farewell remembering and honouring Bob. A Celebration of Bob’s Life will be announced at later date.   13. Sending sincere sympathy to all of Bob's family & also to Larry & Linda & Allan & Bea. The South family were close neighbours on 8th Line & really good friends. Bob went through public school with our daughter, first 2 years at the one room school then in Brigden at the central school.
    Bob was much too young to pass away, he should have had many more years to enjoy his family.

  16. My deepest condolences to Bob’s family. Bob was a great guy to know and co-worker with the Construction Services Group. He always looked out for his brothers and sisters in the Insulators Union. I am saddened to see him gone – I enjoyed having a cold one with him now and then.
