Ron McVicar

McVicar- It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald Foster McVicar on Thursday July 2, 2020 at the age of 78 years. Ron will be forever remembered by; his wife, Helen of 53 years; his daughters, Heather (John Hart), Laura (Scott Heggie) and Meghan (Bill Schenck). He will be fondly remembered by; his grandchildren, Jenna, Logan, Jason, Claire and Aidan; his sister, Margaret (Bernard Cox) and by his sister-in-law, Ina Mae McVicar. He was predeceased by his brother, Jack McVicar (2015). Ron will be remembered for his commitment to his community having served on many church and community committees. He was a retiree from local #663. Cremation has taken place and due to the current COVID restrictions a celebration of his life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia, St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Corunna or to the charity of one’s choice.
