Johnston- Peacefully surrounded by family and friends at Afton Park Place, Sarnia on Thursday November 24, 2016. Ruth Elaine Johnston, age 77 yrs of Sarnia. Loving mother of Marla Doyle (Pat) of Sarnia, Kim Taylor (Will) of Toronto, John Titus (Lori) of Tillsonburg, Alana Meston (Mike) of Sarnia and Christine Titus of Sarnia. Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive. Ruth will be fondly remembered by her best friend Sherrill (Dustan) Townsend of Courtright. Special thanks is extended to the entire staff at Afton Park Place for their care and compassion shown to Ruth during the years she resided there. In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place and no further services are planned. In lieu of flowers sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or to the charity of one’s choice.
