Sally Beggs

Beggs-It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Sally Marie Beggs. She was born in Petrolia on April 25, 1959 and passed away on May 18, 2018 at the age of 59. She leaves behind her husband Brian Beggs of 33 years, her son Brant (Amy) Shaw of Alberta and her daughter Chelsea Beggs of Australia. Sisters Karon (David) Fletcher & Sharon (Charlie) Baxter of Sarnia and brother Jim (Pam) Vaughan of Petrolia. Much loved & adored grandchildren Rhett & Maren Shaw and Teva Clutterbuck. Sister in law to Carrie (Mike) McCaffer, Leanne (Ted) Hext, Bev (Gary) Krabsen, Bill (Jan) Beggs and Ron (Winnie) Beggs and daughter-in-law of Gladys Beggs. Many nieces and nephews also survive. She was predeceased by her parents Ken (1995) and Jackie (1988) Vaughan of Petrolia and father-in-law, Ray Beggs (2013) of Sarnia. Sally was very active with the Mooretown Minor Hockey Assoc. and was President of the Hockey Moms for many years. Sally was also a valuable member with Mooretown Silver Stick Tournament. She loved to cook, bake, garden and folk paint in her free time. She will be missed and remembered by many associates and friends she made during her short & precious time with us. She was truly someone who you could rely on and trust your soul with. Special friends Tim & Debbie Brown, Sandi Stewart & family and Deb & Perry Van-Alphabet will miss her contagious smile, her loving spirit, and love for her friends and family for whom she considered her own. Special heartfelt thanks to Brenda from CCAC, the nurses and Volunteers on 5th floor Bluewater Health and Dr Borek. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Mooretown Minor Hockey Assoc or the charity of your choice. Arrangements have been made by Knight Funeral Home Corunna. Celebration of life will be at the Corunna Legion on Thursday, May 24th from 6-9pm with a short service at 6:30pm.
