Lamb- Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Bluewater Health-Palliative Care Unit, Sarnia on Wednesday January 29, 2014. Sarah Shaw Lamb, age 80 years of Sarnia and formerly of Corunna. Beloved wife for over 55 years to Robert Lamb. Loving mother of Gord Lamb and his wife Terri of Sarnia. Much loved grandmother of Jesse Lamb (Jenna), Erin Smith (Jason) and Colleen Lamb (Matt Grossi) and great-grandmother of Owen and Benjamin Smith. Sarah is also survived by her sisters, May, Alice, Margaret and Ann all of Scotland and by many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents James and Alice Mayneilly. Sarah and Robert resided in Corunna for nearly 35 years before moving to Sandy Lane in Sarnia and eventually to Landmark Village. Sarah was a longtime member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Corunna. Family and friends are invited to join the family in the Activity Room at Landmark Village 1340 L’Heritage Drive, Sarnia on Saturday February 1, 2014 from 2-4 p.m. for a time of fellowship and reflection. Cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy friends who wish may send memorial donations to St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Corunna or to the charity of one’s choice. I am presently in Florida and will not be able to express my sympathy in person. I enjoyed a short visit with Cis at Marshall Gowland Manor earlier this month and am deeply sorry to hear of her death. My deepest sympathy to you Bob and all the members of your family.
