Janjatovic- Peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Afton Park Place, Sarnia on Monday February 6, 2017. Slobodan “Dan” Janjatovic, age 95 yrs of Corunna. Loving husband of 55 years to Elaine. Much loved father of Daniel Janjatovic (Shari) of Camlachie, Lorne Janjatovic and Mark Janjatovic (Sherrie) all of Corunna. Treasured grandfather of Dean, Dale and Ryan. He was predeceased by his brothers, Dragon and Zoran. Dan was a W.W. II veteran having served with the Serbian Nationalists. He was a long time member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 447- Corunna. He immigrated to Canada in 1950 and spent most of his working career at CIL from where he retired in 1986. Competitive by nature, Dan enjoyed playing soccer, golf, fishing and bridge. Family and friends are invited to join Dan’s family for a time of fellowship and refreshment at the Corunna Legion, 350 Albert St. Corunna on Friday February 10, 2017 between the hours of 5-8 p.m. Cremation has already taken place and a private family interment service will be held at Moore-Union Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Legion Poppy Fund or to the charity of one’s choice.   4. To Elaine and Family . So sorry to learn of your loss.Dan was such a wonderful gentle man and a great dancer too Ha Ha .Vicki and I spoke today remembering many fond memories and pleasant times at the Adult Day Program. Vicki doesn”t dance so Dan and I danced alot ,at the program and even once at the Creek Festival .Elaine asked me to help her out. Dan could not sit still to good music. And every ball and balloon Dan picked up with his feet and soccer skills. We got to know you Elaine , and you were always so wonderful and appreciate to us staff.It was a blessing to have met you both.

  8. Elaine so sorry to hear about the passing of Dan. Dan was at the program when I first started 4 years ago at AEC in Petrolia. He was such a wonderful man and loved to talk and enjoyed playing cards, music and cribbage as well. He will be missed by so many and actually just was saying last week about all the men that use to come and play cards , cribbage and now hardly have any. Thinking of you all at this difficult time.
