Towler- Peacefully at the Bluewater Health-Palliatve Care Unit, Sarnia on Monday December 14, 2020. Theresa Agnes Towler, age 88 years of Sarnia and formerly of Corunna. Beloved wife of 68 years to Norman. Much loved mother of Doug Towler and his wife Denise. Treasured grandmother of Lindsey Myer and Corey Keelan (Tim) and great-grandmother of Maximus and Finley Myer and Jack Keelan. Theresa is also survived by her sisters, Irene and Olive. She was predeceased by; her parents, Bill and Olive (McGough) Hubbard and by her sisters, Marie Demeray, Patricia Simmons and Mary Ellen Hubbard. Theresa worked for 25 years at Keddy Shoes before opening and operating CORLIN Cleaning Company in Sarnia for 10 years before her retirement. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Corunna until moving to Sarnia in 2016. She will be remembered as an avid Toronto Maple Leaf and hockey fan. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed by all that knew her. A special thanks is extended to the Staff at Fairwind’s Lodge and to the Bluewater Health Palliative Care Team members for the care and compassion shown to Theresa. In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place and a private family memorial will be held at a later date.
