Montgomery– Peacefully surrounded by his loving family at St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia on Wednesday December 7, 2022. Thomas “Tom” Franklin Montgomery, age 72 yrs. of Corunna. Beloved husband of 51 years to Barb (nee Cook). Much loved father of Kyle Montgomery (Elaine) of London and Stacey Robertson (Dallas Boychuk) of Sarnia. Treasured grandfather of Cameron and Alexis. Dear son-in-law of Howard Cook of Corunna. Loving brother-in-law of Karen Baxter (Steve) of Sarnia, Cathy Landry (Larry) of Windsor, Dave Cook of Sarnia, Beth Cook of Sarnia and Ruth Montgomery of Petrolia. He will be greatly missed by cherished companion Toby. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Tom was predeceased by; his parents, Alexander and Lillian Montgomery; his brother, Robert Montgomery; his step-mother-in-law, Helen Cook (2022); his nephew, Cody Cook (2022) and by his niece, Stephanie Stothers (2018). Friends will be received at the Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Thursday    December 15, 2022 from 4-6 p.m. where a funeral service will be held on Friday December 16, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Gabrielle Heidinger officiating. A private family graveside service will follow in Moore-Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia or to the Corunna United Church.   28. I know this is late but I just found out today (March 31st, 2023) of Tom’s passing. I worked with Tom some years ago in the inspection business. I found him to be a special partner, reliable and sound.
