Vincent “Vince” Thomas

Thomas– Peacefully with his wife Rachel by his side at Bluewater Health-Palliative Care Unit, Sarnia on Thursday May 18, 2017. Vincent Albert Thomas, age 68 years of Sarnia. Beloved husband of Rachel (Fangeat). Loving father of Jeff Thomas of California, Jason Thomas of Montreal, Verna Thomas-Burleigh and Sandra Turow both of London. Vince was a much loved grandfather of 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. He is also survived by; his mother, Nellian Thomas; his sisters, Noreen, Lorna, Sheila, Brenda and Gyda and by his brothers, Laurie and Wayne. He was a loving brother-in-law to Lynn Ellis, Guy Fangeat, Richard Fangeat and Louise Thompson. He was predeceased by; his father, Joseph Thomas; his father-in-law, Ray Fangeat and by his mother-in-law, Carmen Fisher. Vince will be fondly remembered as a great upholsterer having owned J & K Furniture and Upholstery in Sarnia for over 40 years. He will be forever remembered for his one line zingers and will be sorely missed by his many friends at Harry’s Family Restaurant in Sarnia. In keep with Vince’s wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will take place in Jamaica at a later date. As expressions of sympathy friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Canadain Cancer Society or to the charity of one’s choice.
