Gatecliff- Tragically but peacefully in Niagara Falls on Thursday December 5, 2019. Wade Barclay Gatecliff age 29 years of Sarnia. Much loved son of Doug (Lori) Gatecliff and Caroline Gatecliff (Glen Ritchie). Loving brother of Troy Gatecliff and Jesssica Gatecliff (Adam Vanhoogenhuize. Dear grandson of Ralph Westman and Barbara Westman. Wade was a special nephew to Cecil Gatecliff, Tracy Phalen (Tim), Rob Gatecliff, Scott Westman (Brenda Quackenbush), Janice Silver (Glen), Marilyn VandeBorne (Peter) and Sharon Filippi (Tim). Numerous cousins and many friends also survive. Wade loved all his family and friends but his favorite place in the world to spend time was at the farm with his aunt Marilyn, uncle Peter and his cousin Scott. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Cecil and Mary Gatecliff and Harvey Ratz. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Wade’s life will be held at the Navy Club 1420 Lougar Ave. Sarnia on the day after what would have been his 30th birthday- February 15, 2020 from 2-6 p.m. In lieu of flowers sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Sarnia and district Humane Society or to the charity of one’s choice.
