My condolences to the Coughlin family, I met Wayne in 1977 at Lambton GS, he was a great guy and a fun teaser, since he retired and anytime I would see him in the store we always were engaged in some conversation, He had such a great sense of humour and always had something fun to say. A very smart technologist and he would light up the place with his personality wherever he went. He will be greatly missed by family ,friends and all who knew him

Although I didn’t know Wayne all that well, the few times I was in his company he was full of life, had a
great personality & sense of humor. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Kevin and Brent and family: we are so sorry for your loss. Your dad impacted a lot of boys’ lives as he coached baseball and hockey for many years. We have wonderful memories of our kids growing up as we travelled across the province, winning many championships. At the end of long hot, or cold days, depending on the season, hotel party rooms were welcome retreats. We shared many laughs with your parents. So sad they both are gone way too soon. Our thoughts and prayers are with you both.
Dear Diane and Family

Wayne was a true gentleman and a good friend. He always looked out for me as a junior golfer and continued to be supportive of my career as I grew up. I admired him a lot and will miss him dearly.

I was saddened this morning to learn of Wayne’s passing. We had attended high school together in Elliot Lake and were teammates in fastball. In more recent years we had stayed connected with email and a series of high school reunions. Wayne was a great guy with a wonderful sense of humour. My sincere condolences to Diane and family.
Diane my prayers and thoughts are with you,
Wayne was a great mentor. We shared a fence in Corunna and Wayne would spend hours playing catch with me in the backyard. He also played hockey with us on the ponds around our house (before they built up the neighbourhood), He let me be his batboy for his fastball team and I caddied for him occasionally. He was a large part of my life and will sorely miss him. My heartfelt condolences to the family.
