Wayne Miles

Miles- William “Wayne” 70 of Corunna ON passed peacefully Friday July 13, 2018 at Bluewater Health Sarnia after a short courageous battle with cancer. Wayne is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 51 years Jayne Miles, children Cathy and Mike Williams, Margy and Dave Toms, Stephanie and Phil Regnier, Doug Miles and Kim Kremer. Wayne adored his Grandchildren Taryn and Sam Simmons, Nate Toms and Annie Caldwell, Erica Williams and Andrew Borody, Emily Williams and Matthew Wyrzykowski, Brittany Moffatt and Nic Giorgini, Mia Miles and Jason Willette, Tess Miles, Hannahh Miles and Austin Ramos, Matthew Regnier, Hannah Acaster, Jay Gruben and Ryan Gruben. He was also blessed with Great Grandchildren Benjamin Simmons, Reese Borody and Jason Willette. Wayne is survived by his sister Judy and Gary Stewart and was pre-deceased by his parents James and Margaret Miles and his siblings John Miles, Donny and Gail Miles and Lillian McDermott.
Wayne was a proud and loving father and grandfather, Husband, Dad and papa. Wayne had a Huge Heart, was extremely proud of his family, a great story teller and a fixer of everything. The family would like to extend thanks to Dr. Lilly, Dr Ghate and all the Nurses and Staff of Palliative care at Bluewater Health Sarnia . Friends will be received at Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Monday July 16, 2018 from 6-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held July 17th, 2018 at 11am at the Knight Funeral Home with Reverend Deanna Gibson officiating.

    Dru and I are so very sorry and saddened for all the family of Wayne. He was such a nice person who loved his family so very much. His love for Jayne was so evident. I loved to see them holding hands wherever they went. Waynes love for watching Nate riding or spending time with all his grandchildren. Was so lucky to be a part of that.

    Miles. My father was John MacGregor. I am 81 years old and have 3 children. Luc, born in 1959 and Lives in Quebec City. Denise , born in 1960 and lives in Windsor, N.S. Richard born in 1961 and passed away when he was 50.

    I worked with Wayne for a number of years at LGS and he always had a smile on his face. He was a good man and he will be greatly missed by a number of people.
