Milliken- With courage and dignity surrounded by his loving family at Bluewater Health, Sarnia on Tuesday April 7, 2015. Douglas “Wayne” Milliken, age 67 years of Corunna. Beloved husband of 27 years to Vicki Milliken. Wayne was the step-father of John Sexton of Port Huron and loving grandfather of Jacob, Laura and Aaron. He held a special place in his heart for his daughter-in-law, Carol Sexton of Port Huron. He is also survived by; his sister, Sharon Bean (Edward); his nephew, Chris Bean (Amy); his niece, Jennifer Ward (James) all of Port Huron; his cousin, Myron Holmes (Joanne) of Corunna and he will be fondly remembered by his niece and nephews from the Seward family. Wayne was predeceased by his parents, Douglas and Mildred Milliken. Friends will be received at the Corunna United Church on Saturday April 18, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. where a memorial service will at follow at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Blair Corcoran officiating. Cremation has already taken place and a private family interment service will be held in Froomefield Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Corunna United Church or to the London Regional Cancer Clinic.
