William “Bill” Robb

Robb- Peacefully at his residence surrounded by his loving family on Thursday November 7, 2024. William “Bill” Dixon Robb, age 81 years of Corunna. Loving husband of 58 years to Lynda. Much loved father of Michael Robb and his wife Nancy of Carp, ON and Christopher Robb and his wife Terena of Yellowknife, NWT. Treasured grandfather of Robert, Sam, Ella and Scarlet and cherished great-grandfather of Levi and Sequoia. Bill is also survived by; his sister, Marjorie Laws of Sarnia; his brother, Bob Robb and his wife Brenda Lee of Grand Prairie, AB; his sister-in-law, Janet Berry and her husband Doug of Petrolia and by his brother-in-law, David Oatman and his partner Melody of St. Thomas. He was predeceased by his parents, Bill and Jean Robb. Bill retired from CSX after 40 years of service, where he was often referred to as “Mr. Nice Guy”. He will be fondly remembered in his neighborhood as the go to guy who could fix most anything. Bill and Lynda spent many wonderful years travelling as they have been to many Caribbean destinations, Europe, Central America, Mexico, the United States and coast to coast across Canada. The family would like to acknowledge and thank Dr. Allison Crombeen and the entire Palliative Care Team for the care and compassion shown to Bill and his family during his illness. In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to St. Joseph’s Hospice in Sarnia.     Sincere condolances to Lynda and all the Robb family. BIll was one of my most favorite people on the planet. He was one of a kind . Always so funny, full of great stories and a total blast to vacation with! A genuine person and truly kind. Always offering a helping hand.
    He was a wonderful person, I will miss him greatly.
