Stockall– Peacefully following a 2 year stay at Sumac Lodge in Sarnia. William David Stockall, age 95 years formerly of Corunna passed away on Sunday February 20, 2022. Loving husband of 68 years to Nancy. Much loved father of Daniel Stockall and Shelley Brigham both of Corunna. Bill is also survived; by his brothers, James Stockall of Richmond Hill and Gordon Stockall of British Columbia. He was predeceased by; his son-in-law, John Brigham (2013) and by his sisters, Jean Hossiey and Chris Milne. Bill retired from Imperial Oil. He loved to travel all over the world and spent many years boating along the St. Clair River with Nancy and their dog. In keeping with the families wishes cremation has taken place and no further services are planned. In lieu of flowers sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or to the charity of one’s choice. So sorry for your loss. I have such wonderful vivid memories of Bill smiling and waving either down by the river or walking in the old neighbourhood and around our little village. He shared so much positivity during his years here in Corunna. May all the good memories you have bring you peace.

My sympathy goes out to Nancy, Shelly and Dan: Bill was a member of the St. Clair River Trail Committee for
many years. Bill was a great community member and wanted to showcase the municipality of St. Clair Township and
especially Corunna by installing historical signage. At that time, the Committee was still very involved with constructing
the trail without considering the amenities then. We now have the St. Clair Heritage Committee doing exactly what
Bill envisioned. I hope you know Bill that your vision has been realized. Rest in Peace.
