Yvonne Kameka

Kameka- Unexpectedly but peacefully at her residence on Thursday June 17, 2021. Yvonne Michele Kameka, age 71 years of Corunna. Beloved wife of 53 years to Fritz. Much loved mother of Shawn Kameka (Margaret) of Courtright, the late Shane (1990) and Stacey Muxlow of Corunna. Treasured grandmother Mckenna, Hunter, Matthew, Randy, Cooper, Aiden and Ainzley and great-grandmother of Hadley and Addasin. Yvonne was the loving sister of Cindy Pierce of Sarnia and will be fondly remembered by her special aunt, Sharon “Cookie” Winchester of London. She will be greatly missed by her Sphinx Cats, Theo and Izzy. Yvonne retired form OPG-Courtright after 18 years of service, she loved spending time at her cottage on Stag Island and will be fondly remembered as an avid garage saler. Due to the current restrictions of COVID19, a private family visitation will be held followed by cremation. Please note masks/face coverings are mandatory and physical distancing must be maintained for all those in attendance. In lieu of flowers sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia or to the charity of one’s choice.     Dear Fritz and family.
    Bob and I were dearly saddened to hear of Yvonnes passing. She brought such happiness to everyone who knew her. Her open, friendly, caring nature was a blessing to all who were fortunate to know her.
    I’m sure she is continuing to bring that happiness on her new journey.
    I’m sorry we weren’t able to spend more time with her at the Island she loved.
